B.U.D.'S Foundation, which stands for Bikers United to Defend driving Safely, is dedicated to promoting motorcycle safety through an impactful awareness campaign. This initiative not only focuses on community support but also aims to raise funds for the injured riders fund, ensuring that those affected have the resources they need.
B.U.D.'S foundation sponsorship
Our Foundation is passionately committed to assisting the riders and their families. Since December 2011, one of our annual projects, B.U.D.’S Foundation’s “Santa on the Bike Toy Run”, is a holiday toy drive to provide Christmas gifts to children to assist those parents who were injured (thru no fault of their own), children of fallen fatality rider(s) and those critically ill riders who passed within that calendar year and those community low income youth. The Foundation provides Christmas wish list boxes to each of these children to help them receive gifts during the holiday season, in memory of a deceased parent, or in memory of an injured parent who could not afford them. Each year, many children in the communities of Edgecombe County, Wilson County, Wake County, Wayne County, and Myrtle Beach SC and all over the United States have received a box of their Wish List items or a monetary donation in memory of their fallen parent or on behalf of a parent recovering from serious injuries related to a non-fault accident.
Thus, each year, your help is needed. The Foundation is asking for your support and sponsorship in the cause of Awareness and Safety while supporting the injured and families of fatality victims. We are asking for your support as we continue to promote awareness and safety, while helping those in need of emotional, spiritual, and financial assistance whenever possible.
We have several areas of support in which your sponsorship is greatly appreciated, including The Fallen Riders Scholarships, The Injured Riders Fund, The Families of Fallen Riders Fund, and our annual Fallen Riders Fundraiser Weekend. This includes those now in need of assistance with medical bills or financial aid, as well as injured riders requiring a supported structure while out of work. Each year, we also strive to present our annual fundraiser entitled the B.U.D.’The S Foundation Annual Fallen Riders Fundraiser Weekend will be held the second weekend in September.
