Since 2011, B.U.D.’S Foundation, also known as Bikers United to Defend Driving Safely, has been an integral part of our community support initiatives by providing Christmas gifts for children who have lost a parent or guardian due to an illness, incident, or accident. Supporting a child who has lost a parent at Christmas is crucial, as the holidays can be a challenging time for them to process their grief. This awareness campaign highlights the importance of surrounding these children with care. The memories during the holidays can be filled with reminders of the deceased parent, which can be painful. Additionally, children may look forward to cherished traditions and events, but the loss of a parent can leave these moments feeling incredibly empty. Many children may also experience a sense of disconnection. When requested, we will assist in locating supportive counseling services, as part of our commitment to the injured riders fund and promoting motorcycle safety in our community.

This event features a balloon release to honor those who have passed away and highlights our commitment to motorcycle safety. The day not only celebrates the past, present, and future but also emphasizes the importance of our awareness campaign. Funds raised during this event are allocated to various areas including:

- Community Initiatives Fund: Supporting community events that provide vital community support with food or shelter.

- Awareness and Safety Campaign: Promoting motorcycle safety initiatives.

- Scholarship Fund: Offers scholarships ranging from $500 to $1000, with applications due by June 1 of each year.

- Financial Assistance for the Sick and Shut-In!

- Funeral Assistance for families in need.

Additionally, the injured riders fund supports those who have been affected by tragic accidents.
